Changes in customer service queues management at our postal retail locations

To our customer audience

We inform that due to the Covid-19 pandemic, new safety measures aimed at protecting our customers and staff are being put in place at our retail postal outlets.

As of June 8, 2020, whenever we notice a massive or too large number of customers is likely to prevent our safety measure from being effective, our customer service staff is prompted to give number tickets to all of our customers waiting for their turn outside our retail postal outlets - in order to both avoid crowded places and streamline queue lenghts. This is done 1 hour before the closing hour of our postal outlets and the customers who were given a number ticket are told to stand in a single waiting line with a minimum social distancing of 1.5 meter from other people.

WARNING: Incoming people willing to enter the queue after number tickets have already been delivered are told to be back on the next business day.

Correios do their utmost to smooth things out, thus reducing the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on their operating procedures.

Pursuant to our corporate commitment, return to normality is taking place gradually, according to our operational capabilities and in tune with all of our safety guidelines for both our employees and customers.
